A rock is something that is made up of minerals and has never been alive. There are three different types of rocks. One is sedimentary, second is metamorphic, a third is igneous.
A sedimentary rock usually takes hundreds and thousands of years to make and that's the same with all the other types of rocks. Rocks can be hard or soft and come in all different shapes and sizes. Some rocks are little and are called pebbles. There are three famous rocks in Australia. One is Waves Rock, another is Ayers Rock and the last one are the Twelve Apostles. Inside some Igneous rocks there are......crystals!!!
I think that rocks are very interesting and that it is fun to look at crystals. I also like to guess what types of rocks they are.
